As the Israelites prepared to go into the Promised Land, God commanded them these words:

“And these words which I command you this day shall be upon your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.” Deuteronomy 6:6-7

God, in His perfect wisdom, knows that our children must be educated within the framework of His Word. Only when we look at all of life through the grid of the Bible will we see the truth and become truly educated. This results in a mind that is trained to live within the world but not be conformed to the world.
