Robert T. Lester, Sr. (Elementary Principal) is a twenty-eight year veteran of Christ-centered, Bible-based Christian Education. After he obtained his undergraduate degree in Christian Education from Bryan College in 1975, he continued his education at Reformed Theological Seminary, Atlanta School of Biblical Studies, Georgia State University, and the University of Georgia.

In 1980, he left a management position to establish a Christian school under the auspices of his local church. The church sold the school in 2000, after which Robert completed his Masters degree in Educational Leadership at UGA, summa cum laude. Longtime friendships with many at Cherokee Christian School made Robert’s move to CCS an easy transition.

After four years of classroom instruction in the elementary school, Robert joined the administration team with the oversight of the elementary school his primary responsibility. Robert is married to his childhood sweetheart and wife of thirty-five years, Debbie. They have five children ranging in age from 32 to 14. Bonnie, the youngest, attends CCS. The Lester’s are members of Christ-Covenant Presbyterian Church in Woodstock.
