That Rod Kirby loves the Beatles?

Dr. Rod Kirby
Bachelor of Music (Organ Performance) – Jacksonville University
Master of Christian Education – Reformed Theological Seminary
Doctor of Philosophy (Educational Leadership) – Louisiana Baptist University
Rod has been involved in Christian education since 1978 following his seminary training. He started a Christian school in rural Mississippi, where he served as headmaster and kindergarten teacher for seven years. Following this, he started another Christian school in suburban Houston, TX, serving as headmaster and elementary teacher. He came to Woodstock in 1988 as the headmaster of Cherokee Christian School, and in 1998 went to Dominion Christian High School in Marietta as high school principal. When the position of high school principal at CCHS became available in 2008, Rod was glad for the opportunity to be part of the Lord’s work here once again. Rod and his wife Martha (K-5 teacher) have three sons: Ben (who recently completed five years of service in the US Army as a Captain), Jonathan (physics and math teacher at another Christian high school), and David (analyst in the leveraged finance division of a major Wall Street financial firm). They have attended Cherokee Presbyterian Church since 1988, where Rod is an elder and the church organist.
