Admission

We will accept applications at any time, however, they are not processed until our enrollment period begins in January. We encourage you to get an early start. Click here for our Information Handbook.

To Enroll:

Step 1. Submit the New Student Application On-Line

On-Line Application

Note: The on-line form is transmitted using 128 bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) Encryption, into an encrypted database. This is the strongest encryption available. Data is protected in accordance with industry/government standards for the secure transmission and storage of digital information. If on-line submittal is not possible, a paper-based application may be obtained from the front office.

Included with the application are three reference forms (Pastor, Teacher, and School). These are to be down loaded and forwarded to the appropriate person.

Step 2. Submit the $250 Registration Fee. The registration fee is non-refundable except in the following instances: the family moves out of the area, space is no longer available, financial aid is not available (if needed), or the student is not accepted. Payment can be made by check or by credit card. Credit card payments can be made online here.

Step 3. Forward Additional Records. To complete the application process we will need the following items:

  • Report cards for the previous two years
  • Previous standardization test results
  • Copies of any special test/evaluation results for learning differences

Note: If you have been home schooling and are applying for high school you must submit a transcript of the student’s work using the following form – Home School Transcript. Please include all courses completed at the middle and high school level.

Step 4. Complete the Parent Interview and Student Assessment. We conduct an interview with all new families to discuss the covenant we both are entering into for the education of your child. We encourage both parents to attend if possible. In addition, students will be tested to evaluate their ability to satisfy the academic demands of Cherokee Christian Schools.

Step 5. Receive Notification of Acceptance. We will notify you promptly once the steps above have been completed. If the class is already filled, you will be given an opportunity to join the waiting list. If you are notified of acceptance, the following information will need to be provided in order to complete the enrollment process. Delays in obtaining all enrollment materials can jeopardize your child’s placement in the class.
