Admission

Our Enrollment Process

Cherokee Christian Schools accepts new student applications throughout the year. However, CCS administration reviews all new applications for the following school year in January.

We encourage parents to apply early to ensure available seating for your child.

Getting Started

Please carefully review all of the steps below:

1

Submit New Student Application

Online Application

Included with the application are three reference forms (Pastor, Teacher, and School). These are to be down loaded and forwarded to the appropriate person.

2

Submit $250 Registration Fee

The registration fee is non-refundable except in the following instances: the family moves out of the area, space is no longer available, financial aid is not available (if needed), or the student is not accepted. Payment can be made by check or by credit card. Credit card payments can be made online here.

3

Forward Additional Records

To complete the application process we will also need:
A) Report cards for the previous two years
B) Previous standardization test results
C) Copies of any special test/evaluation results for learning differences.
NOTE: If you have been home schooling and are applying for high school, you must include a transcript of the student’s work using Home School Transcript form as part of Step 3. Please include all courses completed at the middle and high school level.

4

Complete Parent Interview & Student Assessment

We conduct interviews with all new families to discuss the covenant we both are entering into for the education of your child. We encourage both parents to attend. In addition, students will be tested to evaluate their ability to satisfy the academic demands of CCS.

5

Receive Notification of Acceptance

We will notify you promptly (via letter or email) once the steps above have been completed. If the class is already filled, you will be given an opportunity to join the waiting list. If you are notified of acceptance, the acceptance is conditional based on receiving the information from Step 6 within 10 days of notification.
