CCS offers baseball for middle school boys. Students in 6th through 8th grade may participate and teams are formed based on participation levels. In the event that enough middle school players are not available, 5th grade students may be invited to participate. This program will emphasize a whole team effort toward winning games. Cherokee Christian High School is a member of the Georgia Independent Christian Athletic Association (GICAA) and games are scheduled with other area Christian and private schools. Coach Alex Teate – Varsity Baseball

I am extremely excited to be a joining the CCS family, a ministry that is impacting next generations’ leaders for Christ. I was born and raised in Stockbridge, GA, and moved to Port St. Lucie immediately after my wedding to my beautiful wife, Brittany. God has lead us back to Atlanta after a two year stay in south Florida where I coached Golf, Basketball, Softball, and Flag Football. I received my degree in Sports Management from Georgia Southern University and after I graduated from GSU, I had the amazing privilege to work for Christian Campus Fellowship, an organization reaching young adults for Christ. I have always had a passion for playing numerous sports and now teaching the game to today’s youth. I am looking forward to my second year at CCS and coaching Football, Boys’ Varsity Basketball, and Baseball

My favorite Bible verse is Colossians 3:12-14:

“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.”
