CCS Foundation

Created to Help Our Donors

The Cherokee Christian Schools Foundation was created in the spring of 2006 for the purpose of facilitating giving to our ministry in ways that help the donor avoid taxes on non-liquid “complex assets.”

Below is a list of such assets:

  • Real estate- land, houses or other properties
  • Restricted securities- publicly traded securities that may have sales restrictions
  • Business interests- ownership in closely held businesses, limited partnerships
  • Loan notes- money owed to you through loan notes
  • Estate gifts- proceeds from wills, trusts, or life insurance
  • Retirement plans- 401Ks, IRAs or pension plans
  • Life insurance- term, whole life, or variable
  • Personal property- royalties, copyrights, patents, or precious metals like gold
