Sue Hartwell

Co-Director, The Bridge Program

Biography

Mrs. Sue Hartwell has joined our Bridge Program this year having previously served CCS as our Primary School Principal. Mrs. Hartwell began her career in education as a teacher in a small town in Kansas. During her career, she taught every grade from first through sixth.  Mrs. Hartwell has been an elementary school counselor for 23 years. For the last 13 years, she has served at an elementary school here in Cherokee County where she was named Counselor of the Year in 2015. Her academic credentials  include a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, a Master of Education in School Counseling and a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling. In addition to her educational work, Sue also counsels women through the counseling ministry at her church. She has been married to her husband, John, for forty-one years. Her heart is filled with gratitude to the Lord as He has provided the opportunity to serve children and families at Cherokee Christian School.
