In order to participate in any sports programs as CCS, your student will need to have specific forms on file.
A signed liability waiver is needed to participate in any camp, open gym or sports program at CCS.
All physicals currently on file expired on May 31, 2013. While a current physical is not required to participate in camps/open gyms, a new one is required before August 6 if your student will be participating in any Middle or High School sports programs during the school year.
Students not currently enrolled in Cherokee Christian High School that desire to participate in the athletic program may be granted permission by the administration on a case-by-case basis if all standards of eligibility are met. There is a non-refundable $125 participation fee per sport per season.
Athletes and their parents should be familiar with the policies of the athletic department and understand the what is expected of them academically and athletically. Download the Parent-Athlete Manual and read thoroughly. The last page must be signed by both and returned to your coach prior to the start of the season.
The sports program is an asset to CCS and we want to make it possible for all spectators to be able to attend a game. All middle school students who want to attend a game will be allowed to stay after school and go to the game unattended by an adult.
GrowthCare charges will apply up until the game time. GrowthCare staff will check the student out and allow them to go into the game. A permission form is required for each game attended. Please complete and turn in to the front desk the day of the game your student plans to attend.
This privilege is only for the middle school student – no siblings.
