High School Humanities
Joining the CCHS faculty in the fall of 2017, Carole Ford teaches English part-time in the humanities department. A veteran teacher since 1970, she has taught in public, private, and parochial schools in five states and ten schools. She has taught every level in English from remedial to Advanced Placement and from sixth to twelfth grade. Although “officially” retired from public education, she loves teaching and teenagers so much that she chose to continue teaching at CCHS.
Her main hobbies and interests include reading, music, sports (especially any sport with the Florida Gators), news/politics, and cats. She is a widow without children, but has extensive family primarily in Georgia and Florida.
A native of Florida, she currently lives in Woodstock and is a member of First Baptist Church of Woodstock.
