Director of Student Life

Mrs. Turner is the Director of Student Life for the secondary school. She provides counseling, college advising, and oversees all student life events. Additionally, Mrs. Turner teaches the 9th grade girls health class. Mrs. Turner studied Human Development and Family Science & Psychology at the University of Georgia and then went on to receive her Master of Social Work degree at Kennesaw State University. Before working at Cherokee Christian, Mrs. Turner worked as an Assistant Counselor at Eagle Ranch children’s home in Flowery Branch, GA helping teens and their families in crisis. During her time at Kennesaw State, Mrs. Turner interned at Cherokee Family Violence Center and the oncology department at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. She attends church at Sojourn Woodstock. When she is not counseling or planning events, Mrs. Turner enjoys DIY projects, painting, hiking, and traveling.
