Richard Goff brings a unique blend of organizational leadership, personnel development, and ministry experience to his role at Cherokee Christian Schools. His ministry experience began while he was a student at Baylor University in Waco, Texas where he served as a youth minister in a local church. After graduating from Baylor in 1991, Richard served in youth, college and single adult ministry positions in Dallas, Texas where his love for Christian discipleship, counseling, and teaching flourished.
Early on in his career, Richard also developed an interest in business. God graciously opened up opportunities that allowed him to successfully advance into leadership positions in sales, marketing, and executive management. Prior to his current teaching role, Richard served on the CCS board of directors for three years, was the board president for 2 years, and was honored to work on staff as Headmaster for 4 years. He now counts it a joy and a privilege to teach Bible part time in our high school.
Richard’s family is also very involved at CCS. His wife, Alicia, is the Director of The Bridge, our learning differences program. His daughter, Emily, is a CCS graduate, and his son, Brandon, is a current high school student at CCS.
Richard and his family are active members of Faith Community Church in Woodstock where he now serves as the Executive Pastor.
