Welcome to CCS!
It is our privilege every year to welcome new families to CCS. We want to do all we can to make your transition as smooth as possible. Below are a few of the most common questions new parents ask about the start of a new school year. You can also visit our dedicated Parents page for a comprehensve library of parent resources. What time does the school day begin and end?
Primary School (PreK-5th)
- Morning Carpool: 8:00 – 8:25 a.m.
- School Day: 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Afternoon Carpool: 3:00 – 3:25 p.m.
Middle & High Schools (6th-12th)
- Morning Dropoff: 7:45 – 8:15 a.m.
- School Day: 8:20 a.m. – 3:20 p.m.
- Afternoon Carpool: 3:25 – 3:40 p.m.
How does morning drop off and afternoon pick up work?
We have created a special Carpool page that provides all the details you will need to navigate morning drop off and afternoon pick up. Please review the information on the Carpool page carefully before the first day of school. Carpool times are as follows:
Mornings
- Primary School Carpool (PreK-5th): 8:00-8:25 a.m.
- Middle School Carpool (6th-8th): 7:45-8:15 a.m.
- High School Drop Off (9th-12th): 7:45-8:15 a.m.
Afternoons
- Primary School Carpool (PreK-5th): 3:00-3:25 p.m.
- Middle School Carpool (6th-8th): 3:25-3:40 p.m.
- High School Pick Up (9th-12th): 3:25-3:40 p.m.
What about before and after school care for my student?
GrowthCare is our before and after school program for students who need to be dropped off before morning carpool begins and/or picked up after the afternoon carpool session concludes. GrowthCare for ALL grades (PreK-12th) takes place in the Primary School building. Please visit our GrowthCare page for details and pricing for this service. Below are the times GrowthCare is available:
Morning GrowthCare
- Primary School: 7:00-8:00 a.m.
- Middle & High Schools: 7:00-7:45 a.m.
Afternoon GrowthCare
- Primary School: 3:30 – 6:00 p.m.
- Middle & High Schools: 3:45 – 6:00 p.m.
Is there a form I need to complete if my student is absent from school?
Student absences must be authorized by a parent/guardian by completing our online Student Absence Form. Please review our Attendance policies found in the Student/Parent Handbooks for the Primary, Middle, and High Schools for more details.
How do I order lunch for my student?
CCS offers affordable, pre-ordered school lunches featuring a combination of options from our own Chef Eric, as well as weekly deliveries from Grand Slam Pizza and Chick-Fil-A! There are slight variations between the lunch programs, so be sure to refer to the appropriate sections on the Lunch Service page for specific information. All lunch orders are placed through the FACTS Family Portal.
